The editor's chair is the best seat in the house. We get the privilege of speaking directly to the audience, using a language of images and sounds that taps into their very heart and soul.
For me, that’s a sacred responsibility, one that demands we speak with authenticity and humanity.  In doing so, our stories don’t just pass the time—they help people connect and see beyond their perceived divisions.
As an Editor, it's my great privilege to help filmmakers find their own story and bring it to life. I use my sensibility as a writer to shape the viewers’ overall journey. And I enjoy using my technical skills, including graphic and sound design, to further create a frictionless viewing experience.
I began editing in 2010, working on a variety of short doc series for Discovery (nature, travel, etc.), amongst others. My work with Hulu unexpectedly drew me to the tech side of the entertainment industry, where I spent years helping Hulu, Disney+, and Facebook on the design of their streaming platforms. During that time I learned a ton, paid off those awful student loans, and earned the freedom to again make filmmaking my first priority.
I’m currently assisting on film and documentary projects around the San Francisco Bay Area. You can find a selection of some of my earlier work below.
